Main Responsibilities

  • Carry out transformer testing activities, with a particular focus on planning and defining test programs and drafting test execution procedures.
  • Perform low-voltage tests on transformer active parts during the various assembly stages as process checks to ensure correct workflow progression.
  • Perform oil sampling for analysis during diagnostic phases, testing, and final inspections.
  • Interpret test results and oil analysis reports, issuing internal documentation and official reports to be shared with customers.
  • Coordinate internal and external resources to ensure the timely execution of testing activities while respecting budget constraints.
  • Work closely with customers on test-related issues, ensuring all activities comply with Tamini’s and customers’ safety requirements.
  • Maintain and perform frequent checks to ensure that PPE is always worn by all personnel present in the test room and under Tamini’s responsibility.

Requirements

  • Technical high school diploma.
  • Preferably 3–5 years of experience in the transformer sector.
  • Strong ability to read, interpret, and understand technical drawings and schematics.
  • Availability and flexibility for possible customer emergencies; able to perform activities in the factory with minimal supervision.

The selected candidate will support the Plant Manager in ensuring the operational continuity of the facility and promoting improvements in production performance, quality, and safety.

Main Responsibilities:

Operational Support:
Assist the Plant Manager in daily organization by monitoring production activities to ensure optimal functioning of the production chain.

Production Management:
Coordinate team leaders/department heads in production processes, helping to improve performance and ensure that production plans are met.

Safety and Quality:
Support the management of Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) activities and ensure the maintenance of required quality standards.

Maintenance:
Work with the Facility team on preventive and predictive maintenance of machinery and equipment.

Personnel Management:

Continuous Improvement:

Substitution:

Requirements:

Main responsibilities:

  • Perform on-site activities on transformers with a particular focus on planning and defining work programs, considering customer requirements and priorities
  • Install and assemble transformer accessories, apply vacuum, and carry out oil filling and treatment
  • Perform maintenance, repair, and inspection of the active part and, in general, all services provided by Tamini on transformers
  • Conduct electrical testing and commissioning activities on-site, and interpret test and oil analysis results
  • Coordinate both internal and external resources as well as the necessary equipment (cranes, tanks, platforms, treatment systems, etc.) to ensure activities are completed on schedule and within budget
  • Prepare reports on site activities, including routine inspections and the preparation of descriptive and photographic documentation for all site tasks, including non-conformity reports and corrective actions taken
  • Work closely with the customer on site-related issues, ensuring that all on-site work is carried out in accordance with Tamini and customer safety requirements
  • Maintain and perform frequent checks to ensure that PPE is always used by all personnel on-site and under Tamini’s responsibility
  • Act according to safety and integrity principles, taking responsibility for one’s actions while looking after colleagues and the company

Required qualifications:

  • High school diploma with a technical focus
  • Experience in the transformer field is a plus
  • Availability to travel in Italy and abroad, approximately 70–80%
