Tamini Trasformatori Srl, an Italian company of the Terna Group, a leader in the design and manufacturing of industrial, power, and special transformers, is seeking a Junior Electromechanical Design Engineer for its Legnano location.
Requirements
- Technical diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a Bachelor’s/Master’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering
- Basic knowledge of the English language
- Proficiency in standard IT tools and systems
- Knowledge and use of 2D and 3D CAD design software
- Teamwork-oriented attitude
Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- 2D and 3D mechanical design of steel structures, including structural verification and preparation of technical drawings for assigned projects.
- 2D and 3D mechanical design of the active part of power and industrial transformers, including winding sections, core assemblies, and connections.

Tamini Trasformatori Srl, an Italian company of the Terna Group, a leader in the design and manufacturing of industrial, power, and special transformers, is seeking an Electrical Engineer for its headquarters in Legnano, Italy.
The successful candidate will join the department responsible for the electromagnetic and thermal design/calculation of large transformers used in power generation, transmission, distribution, and industrial applications.
The role involves carrying out detailed engineering calculations and design activities with a focus on technical and economic optimization.
Requirements
- Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering
- Strong aptitude for mathematical calculations and design optimization
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment, both within engineering and with other company functions
- Good command of the English language
- Basic knowledge of CAD design software
Previous work experience with oil-immersed transformers (or within the electromechanical sector) will be considered a plus.
